Ice Skate Rentals

We have adult and junior skates to rent.
Here are a few tips!

• We don’t take reservations for ice skate rentals
•  Banff.ca provides some guidance on great locations in the area to find a scenic place to skate outdoor and indoor.

Ice Cleats

$15 per day

Ice cleats are a ‘must’ if you are heading up Tunnel Mountain or going to Johnstons Canyon, or any other trail where you might need some extra traction on the ice. We rent out Ice Trekkers – Diamond Grip Ice Cleats. Available in 4 sizes – fitting from a womens size 5 shoe up to a Mens, size 14.

Snowshoes

$16 per day

Shoeshoes are great to use when exploring off of the main trails. Our Tubbs Snowshoes, the Flex TRK is available in a 22” and 24”. The toe crampons and traction rails on the snowshoes, provide ample grip on uphill, downhill and sidehill terrain. You can also snap up the heel to help with those steeper ascents. All Snowshoe packages come with adjustable poles. Please note that we do not take reservations for ice cleats and snow shoes.

Cross Country Ski Rentals

$23 per day

We rent out waxless cross country ‘classic’ skis. Simply snap in an you are ready to go. Cross country equipment from Fischer includes, boots, Fibre Crown ski and poles. Please note that we do have a small size run of junior equipment from Fischer. We do not take reservations for cross country equipment, but usually have plenty of availability.
